I never knew how naked my windows were. These blinds were not only easy to put up, but they work well and are super stylish.

These are well made blinds. Worth every penny. But, they are not grey. I cant describe the color, but its not grey. I'll say this, they look good with my grey. Luckily the wood around where i have these has some of this color in them, they are white washed with knots that are this color, so it works. But if i just had painted grey walls, i dont think these would work. Maybe when these are sitting next to other blinds they look a little grey, but they are not grey.. Linda

I spent way several months searching the internet, and stores (but, forget them) for the perfect roman blind for over my kitchen sink. My main goal was to block some blinding sunlight that comes in this window almost year-round. I also wanted some privacy when in the kitchen at night.My cabinets are hand-rubbed mahogany and have a mellow and deeply varied palette. My appliances are all jet black, and my floor is terra-cotta tiles, so I wanted something that really blended with all of these elements. I looked and looked, and finally found this blind.To tell the truth, I was leery due to the low price. I was afraid it was just a well-photographed version of something that actually would look like plastic. I finally decided to take the plunge and just order the item.What a great and delightful surprise when I opened the package! This blind looks like something found on an elegant South Seas plantation! It is real bamboo and it happens to perfectly match my cabinets, with lots of warm wood and dark elements. I also love the valance, which assures that this blind looks finished, whether stacked open or down. The roman shade design works really well for me. It has a natural fold and flow and looks good at every opening height. This blind has, 8 years after my kitchen renovation, finally finished off my kitchen and I love it every time I walk in the room.OK. I just love it!!!Three more notes:1.This vendor is one of the very few I found that offer really versatile width/length options. It is very hard to find those small-increment width options, combined with many length options, at a reasonable price.2. Shipping was very fast and the blind was securely packed. It was very easy to install.3.The description notes that this is NOT a privacy shade, and that is more true than I thought- from the outside, you can see significant detail in a lighted room at night through the shade.(If this is an issue, you might be able to have the blind lined, and still for less than a comparable lined blind from another vendor. Don't recall if this vendor offers lined versions.)

Looks really nice in my 1920s home -- blends very well with the decor! They are very stylish and not at all cheap-looking. It was quite easy to install, but I did pre-drill for the nail holes which helped a lot. Sizing was perfect. I purchased them for a south facing window -- I enjoy the light but not the heat in the summer, so these blinds are perfect! They do not darken the room but reduces the intensity of the sun. In the winter, they will be drawn back up to allow for some natural warmth.

No damage to blinds upon receiving as did when I ordered same blinds from another company on Amazon. Beautiful color, easy install. They are not privacy blinds! At night, when light is on in house, outsiders can see in. So just consider this when deciding where to place them. The blinds are beautiful!

Good blind, does exactly what it supposed to do. It just filters the light enough and keeps the heat behind the shade. Almost identical to the ones they had at blinds to go for a quarter of the price

i ordered two different sizes and both were perfect for the windows. they have been up for several weeks and several friends have asked which designer i used. great price and the material seems durable. the upper mount looked like it would be difficult, but 10 minutes later, the first one was up and solidly in place. my windows are 71 inches long, and i was concerned that the extra inches would look strange, but the style of the shade makes the extra length unnoticeable.

When you just need a little filtering these are great !!! Although you can see through them some it is just the right amount !!!
