Tiny
The reason that I am giving it four out of five stars was not because they died or bad packaging it is because they were tiny tiny fry. There is another selection that if I wanted fry I would have ordered them. The biggest one was about 1/4 inch. So now I have to wait 4 months before they actually start breeding. It is just that this was not supposed to be fry. They are a lot more delicate as fry so that is the part that angered me the most so now I will probably lose 2-3x more than I would have if it would have been full sized shrimp. The packaging was good it had some insulation stuff in it and a small bag with about 20 shrimp too small to count with one piece of java moss and some other type of stem plant.

Not so great...
I received my order neatly packed and alive in a small box and was very excited. Then I went to count the shrimp and found 2. Upon closer inspection there was the correct amount the size, however, was about half that of a mosquito larvae. They looked like tiny floating particles. I contacted the seller and they said that the size is not listed in the description like I expected, but is is listed elsewhere. He offered to send me adults in two weeks if the fry didn't survive. Needless to say they did not. I used cycled water and a cycled aerator they were just too small to have shipped in my opinion. After contacting the seller to remind him that he offered me adults, he said it would be another two weeks...it is now 2 months later and still no shrimp. I did not ask for him to send adult shrimp, the seller offered it. As such I expected them to follow through to correct the experience I had.

Extremely Nice Shrimp!
I'm very impressed with these shrimp and this seller. Shrimp were well packed and 100% survived. Even in the bag (after travelling from Indianapolis, IN to Richmond, VA) the shrimp had great color and were very active. After acclimating they went right to work cleaning my plants and driftwood. The more mature females look just like the picture, which I would consider a higher grade than Sakura. They look more like a higher Fire grade to me, but the seller has a lot of experience with cherries so they're probably just nicer specimens than I'm used to seeing. You can see care guides and more info at the sellers website also. Its aquaticarts.com -check 'em out and buy with confidence!

Red Cherry Shrimp AWSOME
I don't normally write reviews but I wanted to let other people know that I had ordered the 20 Red Cherry Shrimp and when I received them, the box was packed very well and even had an cooling pack enclosed. The shrimp were very healthy looking, but, I did have 5 dead in the bag. I contacted The Shrimp Farm and they were right on top of it. They gave me a refund for the DOA's and took care of all my questions. I will be placing future orders with them, no problem. All the other shrimp are doing great and I even have some loaded with eggs. Thank you Shrimp Farm and Amazon.

Excellent quality
Very happy with the red cherry shrimp I received! Quality seems excellent and all shrimp arrived alive and active. Order was late shipping so breeder sent all adult shrimp? I thought this was very generous. I've Had the shrimp a week now and they are all fire engine red and very active. You won't be disappointed.
