Tantora Catappa Leaves can be added to your aquarium to help create a natural habitat for your fish, shrimp, and other aquarium life. Catappa, also known as Indian Almond Leaf or Ketapang, is rich in tannins with antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. These leaves are also great for natural leaf litter in viviariums, terrariums, paludariums, and ripariums. Use approximately 1 piece per 50L (13 gallons) of aquarium water. For smaller aquariums, cut the leaves into appropriate sized portions. There are 50 pieces per pouch, approximately 7-12 inches in length. Note: This product is all natural and organic. Each is unique and may vary in appearance from the sample photo.

Great quality and size!
I have used these for a while now in several tanks and all the fish, neo shrimp and snails have benefited from them. They are a large size as mentioned and good quality. They even have a fresh, clean earthy smell to them whereas some others I have bought have smelled musty. Comes in a resealable bag as well to keep them "fresh." If you have shrimp or other small creatures that love leaf litter and little places to hide. These are great!

Very good high quality leaves! Came very quickly less than 36 hours. Took before and after pictures from the time I put them in the tank @10pm from the time I woke up @8am and the tank gave me the look I was dreaming of for a long time! The Cory cats love to rest under the leaves, my Geophagus loves eating the decaying extracts and my Green phantom pleco comes out more due to the tannins blocking my bright LEDS harsh light. Even my angel fish bred over night on my spider wood! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE LEAVES!

HUGE!
I needed big leaves for my big tanks (100 gal) so decided to purchase. These are absolutely the biggest Catappa leaves I've ever seen. They are doing a fantastic job of adjusting the pH in my tank and darkening the water. They are very clean, whole leaves. I will definitely purchase again.

Great leaf litter for bioactive vivariums
Huge leaves! Way bigger than I expected. I purchased them to be used as leaf litter in my bioactive vivarium's and was afraid they would not be enough for three 4 foot cages. Was more than enough to put leaf litter in all four of my reptiles vivariums... Would buy again Update: did purchase again

Great for Dark-Water Aquariums
Seems sort of silly paying for dead leaves, but they do help an tannins to my aquarium. Boil them for about 20 minutes until they sink, let cool, and add to tank. If you're stribing for a dark-water aquarium, make sure you keep the water used to boil the leaves.

Great for shrimps
Good size, clean leaves. Works well in shrimp tank! Adds a little tannin to the water for a few days, but doesn't turn the water as brown as Alder cones do

Love these
These leaves make a great addition to my tank it will give you a slight tea like hue in the tank, but that's what I was going for. They last about a month or two before they start to disintegrate, only one leaf gives my 75 gallon a nice subtle tint.
