Tantora Catappa Bark helps create a natural habitat for small fish, shrimp, and other aquarium inhabitants. Catappa is rich in tannins with antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Use approximately 1 piece per 120L (31 gallons) of aquarium water. Allow the piece to soften in boiling water for 5-10 minutes and then cool before adding to your aquarium. Each piece is about 8 cm long. There are several pieces per pouch. Note: This product is all natural and inspected for quality and purity. Works as intended!
This product has made a great alternative to Indian Catappa Leaves, which never seem to suit my aquarium's scape. Even one piece is enough to slightly darken the water in my 8.5g tank over a week's time, and I appreciate the look of them next to driftwood. My betta too, appreciates the beneficial tannins! Overall I now consider this product as a staple in my aquarium. Keep in mind these pieces are small, varying between 3-4". If you're looking for something a little bigger I'd recommend checking out Tantora's Catappa bark logs, or even just sticking with traditional leaves.
