Any family favorite recipe goes in this book and it is the most frequently used cookbook in my house. I have been looking for another one to create a vol. 2 for myself and am so glad that I have found one. I am also going to be ordering a 3rd so I can start to create a recipe book for my 8 yr old daughter as she is learning her way around the kitchen. Its well made with handy conversions on the tabbed dividers. The easel ability is great, comes in real handy. The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars is that the description is a little deceiving. There are only two plastic covers for the pages, one in front and one in back. They way they describe the book makes me believe that all the pages are covered in plastic, but they are not. When your cooking you can remove the two plastic covers and place them in the book to cover the recipe that you are using at that time, so that is ok, but its not what I expected.
