This product works great. My old remote case broke after about 10 years. It took a few minutes to pull the old metal key out of the broken plastic. After finding two pairs of pliers, I was able to squeeze the metal key into the new case before screwing it in. I can understand why a few people might have said that their key didn't fit as the holder was very tight and it was not possible to work by hands alone. In about 15 min, all was switched over and works like new. Thanks.

Not very easy to put together and didn’t come with any instructions. But it looks great once installed and gives the exact appearance of a Lexus key for a fraction of the price. I’d definitely buy it again knowing how it goes together now. I was fearful I was going to break something because it wouldn’t snap into place. But with enough pressure it popped in and looked great.

Perfect fit, without needing to cut the key. Can tell it's not OE, but that doesn't matter. Just wanted a new case and that's what it is. Excellent product.

Have a 2000 GS300. My wife broke both of the factory keys by forcing them when steering wheel was not locked. (in the Lexus owner's manual it clearly states to turn the wheel to the right if ignition switch does not turn).I also had a bit of a problem with the tight fit on blade holder. I would rather spend a few minutes with emery paper cleaning up the gunk on the blade than have it loose and break the case again.I also changed the batteries in both keys while I had them apart.I have not had a problem with the buttons being a little more indented in the casing.Overall I am very pleased with the appearance and functionality of the casing.

I bought this for a 2001 RX 300. There are two things wrong with this key fob. The piece of plastic which slides onto the metal key is too narrow. I had to file the flat side of my key for it to fit. Also when the key fob is put together, the button holes are too deep so you have to make an effort to push the buttons until they engage.

I liked that it arrived quickly. I disliked that the screw strips very easily. I had to use the screw that came with the original piece. This will also not last, I am hopeful for a month at most. The key is still partially loose so I know the torque from turning on the engine will burst this quickly. Further, while the buttons fit in their respective holes, the lock/panic hole is larger than the button so there is a gap. As I would otherwise be keyless while I order another fob cover, I am going to keep it. However, I would not buy this again.

Im so VERY pleased. Was worried that the key would be cheap but its not.. it's basically identical to one I purchased directly from Lexus last year for $150. I struggled a little to get it together using the old key stick, but then it came together perfectly.. entire process took me about 5 mins total. Im so happy, it's strong material and looks & feels identical to a new key. Very very happy! Huge cost savings!

Spent $5.99 and got a replacement fob. Is it top quality? No. Does it get the job done? Yes. Case doesn’t exactly line up on outside edges and buttons sit way too low for convenience. But... on a positive note, Lexus emblem is included and is it’s signal reaches an incredibly long distance when locking and unlocking, through my entire house and to the back of the pasture! It wouldn’t go through my door with the car just on the other side of it prior to the new case change, and that’s using the same battery!!

I purchased this product as dealer prices were huge. very easy to fit key and assemble. I have used it for some weeks now without any issues.
