TommyBall Lightweight Indoor Kids Soccer Ball (Footbag Type of Ball - Soft Kick - No Sting - Foam Stuffed - Size 3)

We have four children. Two of them Love Soccer. I'm a mid-40s dad who also loves soccer. We frequently kick the ball around in the house. When real soccer ball hits the wood blinds it makes a devastating sound and we have suffered some paint damage on the walls from using real soccer balls.This ball perfect. I shopped around on Amazon to try and find a soft, light ball that would be unlikely to damage things. This ball is surprisingly light. I think it may only way one or two ounces. The first picture shows the Tommy ball between a size 3 and size 5 soccer ball. It is about the size of these size 3 soccer ball.The second picture shows that the ball can deform. I pushed my hand down really hard on the top of it and you can see that you can deform it some but it generally keeps its shape pretty well. It seems like it is filled with hundreds of little tiny round white balls that I tried to demonstrate in the third picture. You can almost see the little white balls under the orange panels.The stitching has held up very well for serious adult and child soccer players kicking it as hard as they can in the house. Because the ball can deform a little bit and is so light it lends itself to some amazing trick shots. You can curve it and hook it with amazing results. It does not damage the paint on the walls, the wood blinds, or the piano. It could knock over a picture that you have standing up on a shelf but it will not knock a picture off the wall. It will not break a mirror or glass.Overall, I think it is a great value. I hope it stands up to the abuse that we inflict on it. We play with it daily and it has been my favorite purchase this Christmas season and Mom no longer yells at us when it hits the wood blinds.10/2020 update: about 6 months after frequent use the ball began to collapse and now it doesn't hold it's shape as well. It is still fun to kick around and I do not regret the purchase

Bought this for Christmas and it's been great! I was pleasantly surprised. It's super light weight (almost feels like some type of heavy styrofoam's inside) but keeps its form and is solid enough to still get a satisfying "kick". This ball is perfect for my 2 yr and 4 yr old to kick around the house. It's also good for me to kick around the house and not break anything. It's not like a nerf ball as it's lighter

Kids are having a great time playing with this “ball”, however it has turned into more a less a pile of kickable mush. It lost its sphere or ball shape after about 2 days of play from a 6 and 8 year old and has gotten worse every day. The kids still love to play with it, they are playing right now, but I’m disappointed in the durability. Ball no longer rolls, just slides. I decided to give this 2 stars instead of one only because it has my kids actively playing indoors and having fun without me worrying about anything getting broken. I hope the makers can spend some time making the product better... guessing the foam they use inside the ball has very little memory to it. Currently looking for something nearly as lightweight as this but that will stand up to my kids use.

This is a great product! It is perfect for indoor use or use in confined spaces. The kids love and it is an excellent training tool. Perfect for drills and teaching proper positioning without needing a full field. Every coach should have a supply of these.

Love love love this product. From a family that has a volleyball, basketball, football soccer ball in the house at any given time this is great substitute for inside play. We’ve been on board from the beginning and can’t wait to see others enjoy this product.

Our friends had a TommyBall, and my son absolutely needed one of his own. What kid doesn’t want to play ball in the house? Now we can! Super light, but still kicks and throws nicely.

My kids LOVE this ball!! It’s a perfect gift for all ages and is priced just right. My son has not stopped playing with his new ball since it arrived this afternoon.
