Not for a 2004 -2006 Shadow Aero
I bought this item and by description states it is for a Shadow Aero 2004 - 2006.The picture shown is even incorrect for a 2004 - 2006 although I did not realize at hte time of purchase.I don't want to trash the vendor as it was shipped quickly so Ill give it three stars this time. Just would liek the vendor to update their product description

This product is garbage
Complete waste of money. Does not even work. Worst part is since I didnt use it in time to return I am stuck with it. Is supposed to be a direct replacememt but I had to modify the chrome rocker cover trim panel to make it fit. So I basicslly cut up my rocker cover trim panel for nothing. Definitely do not recommend to buy unless you like to waste your time and money.

Poorly made
This is the second one of these I bought because the first one leaked. This unit is cheaply made. If you use it to shut your fuel off and on like you are supposed too, the gasket will fail in short order and then the leak starts.

does not fit right
but with my MacGyveresque skills I was able to prevaila longer fuel line and turning it sideways so the "switch" faces forwardother than that it is a quality unit that works wellso 3 stars and a 1/2 thumbs up

It don't fit my bike
My fuel line comes in from the right rear, assuming you are facing the petcock with the tank installed, and the little vacuum tube comes around the back & onto the left side. Unfortunately I found this out several months after purchase, as I wasn't in a hurry
