You have to know how to use it
This is a good wax for control, not the best as a Handle bar mustache product. It's more of a very good secondary. It's smoother than a heavy wax, and I like it for the look of a very neat mustache. Someone else has posted this before but , the best way to use this product is to heat it up with a blow dryer, it becomes almost liquidy , use your finger nail on your index finger to scrape it out. Scrape away not toward. After that rub on both index fingers and apply to mustache. After I do this I form the mustache in the shape I want , then I let it settle, harden. I apply the other oils to my beard, and then I blow dry the mustache and get the wax all loose, and then brush my mustache into place. It stays great all day. Needing the occasional brushing.

My Introduction to Mustache Wax
I need to disclaim that this is my first can of mustache wax. When I first used the product I had to press somewhat firmly to remove wax from the can. Once I used it several times it became soft and was easy to remove. To apply, I rub it between my fingers before dabbing it on. I apply the wax based on the article How to Grow a Handlebar Mustache" on the Art of Manliness website. I like the smell of it as well. The can also fits nicely in the watch pocket of a pair of jeans.

It's kind of like trying to apply ABC gum
At the time I bought this, there were no reviews to warn me against it. It's kind of like trying to apply ABC gum. It doesn't work into your mustache at all. It just kind of stays there... for everyone to see. I look like I have major dandruff punctuated with the occasional wax ball in my mustache when I use this. Now before I hear anything from anyone, I DO know how to apply mustache wax. I've been doing it for years. The only reason I give this two stars instead of one is that I like the scent. I can somewhat work this into my beard (which I've been trying since I am a cheapskate and don't want to throw this away), which makes this not a COMPLETE waste. But It only works in somewhat.Save yourself some headaches and don't buy this product (unless you're after the hipsterish looking tin)

Overall good product

Pass
Not sure what they were thinking with the density, you'll need something to scrape it out of the container... or maybe warm it up everyday? Not hot on the scent either

Not worth the price
This product is a hard, candle-like wax that is difficult to work into the 'stach without getting big clumps of wax in the rest of the beard. One would be just as well off using a scented tea candle and saving $12.

Stay clear of this one
The wax is so hard that I could not get enough out to even use to give a review. Don't buy it
