Looks beautiful
The stones are jagged, so if you have delicate fish, I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise, they look great and so natural. I would recommend them to most fish keepers.

Good for aquascaping
I wanted to get something to hardscape my SA community tank with, but I didn't like the driftwood my pet store brought in, and I was a bit worried about buying driftwood online. I figured lava rock would be easier to work with, and I was right! There are several large pieces of rock in the package, which gives me more freedom to stack rather than just one chunk of driftwood. (Plus it's pH inert)I also used this in my (bare bottom) goldfish tank to anchor some anubias and java fern. Plants should root well as it is a porous surface.
