Tire Carrier Kit HLSP

Haven't had the time to build it yet. But all the parts listed are present.My only complaint it only comes with one of the L jigs for holding up your work piece. You can buy a second one which I did.Not a big issue just a small annoyance if you are working by yourself and making a bigger swing arm for say a Tahoe/Suburban.Can't wait to build my swing arm.

This was SO much nicer than trying to cobble a bunch of different things together! This made building my own rear bumper/ swing out tire carrier go off without a hitch. Not to mention, saving me several hundreds of dollars in buying one already made. This kit, a pile of scrap metal, a nice MIG welder, a couple cans of bed liner paint, and a free afternoon, yielded a pretty nice (if I do say so myself) rear bumper set up.

Solid hinge and equipment, would rather have straight pull latch vs. 90 degree. Price wise and time wise, you might be better off selling your non-carrier bumper. I liked mine and over engineered the carrier. It came out about same cost plus plate mount and brake light. 2007 JKU

Used it to make some heavy duty bumpers for a TJ. Tig welded all the components and they welded very nicely. Definitely will buy them again

The latch is for a 90 degree installation. This is not explained on Amazon. Wasted so much time trying to figure out something.

Change the design of your carrier which I have spent hours building.Real impressive attitude from EMS. I would never buy from them again.I gave it 3 stars because the rest of the product is good.
