The driver window went bad and window could only be controlled from the driver's side. I first call the local Ford dealership and the OEM price was out of the question. I began searching and came across the Switchdoctor and stopped. Their price was great. I looked at the reviews and they were very good, I decided to give it a try. The switch arrived and I began the installation. Very easy installing as everything was plug and play. Perfect fit, easy installation, great price. I did not purchase the lighted switch because mine are not lighted. If you need a window switch, give the Switchdoctor a look. ## Features - This switch fits in the bezel and works for the following models and year ranges: Ford Expedition Passenger 2003-2006, Ford Crown Victoria Passenger 2003-2008, Mercury Grand Marquis Passenger 2003-2008, Mercury Marauder Passenger 2003-2004, Lincoln Mark LT 2004-2008. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004G0HO22 | | Actuator Type | Push Button | | Best Sellers Rank | #904,176 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #4,175 in Automotive Power Window Switches | | Brand | SWITCHDOCTOR | | Brand Name | SWITCHDOCTOR | | Circuit Type | 1-way | | Color | black | | Compatible Devices | Ford Expedition Passenger (2003-2006), Ford Crown Victoria Passenger (2003-2008), Mercury Grand Marquis Passenger (2003-2008), Mercury Marauder Passenger (2003-2004), Lincoln Mark LT (2004-2008), Ford F-150 (2004-2008) | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Ford and Mercury Vehicles | | Connectivity Protocol | X-10 | | Connector Type | Plug In | | Contact Material | Alloy Steel | | Contact Type | Normally Closed | | Control Method | Touch | | Control Type | window | | Current Rating | 2.5 A | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,176 Reviews | | International Protection Rating | IP00 | | Item Dimensions | 10 x 2 x 2.7 inches | | Manufacturer | Switch Doctor | | Material Type | lifetime | | Model | 974 | | Mounting Type | Panel Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Positions | 3 | | Operating Voltage | 120 volts | | Operation Mode | OFF-NONE-ON | | Part Number | SD-00000974 | | Switch Type | Toggle | | Terminal | Button | | UPC | 022099989141 719926358644 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Wattage | 300 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SWITCHDOCTOR - **Connector Type:** Plug In - **Contact Type:** Normally Closed - **Current Rating:** 2.5 A - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 10 x 2 x 2.7 inches - **Material:** lifetime - **Operating Voltage:** 120 volts - **Operation Mode:** OFF-NONE-ON - **Switch Type:** Toggle - **Terminal:** Button ## Images ![SWITCHDOCTOR Window Switch for 2004-2008 Ford F-150, 2003-2006 Ford Expedition, 2003-2008 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis, and 2004-2008 Lincoln Mark LT - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61nDojGhAIL.jpg) ![SWITCHDOCTOR Window Switch for 2004-2008 Ford F-150, 2003-2006 Ford Expedition, 2003-2008 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis, and 2004-2008 Lincoln Mark LT - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31Df1wR5klL.jpg) ![SWITCHDOCTOR Window Switch for 2004-2008 Ford F-150, 2003-2006 Ford Expedition, 2003-2008 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis, and 2004-2008 Lincoln Mark LT - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31PqDLiO+qL.jpg) ![SWITCHDOCTOR Window Switch for 2004-2008 Ford F-150, 2003-2006 Ford Expedition, 2003-2008 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis, and 2004-2008 Lincoln Mark LT - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61sGJ6Zaa5L.jpg) ![SWITCHDOCTOR Window Switch for 2004-2008 Ford F-150, 2003-2006 Ford Expedition, 2003-2008 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis, and 2004-2008 Lincoln Mark LT - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/716KPtw2FoL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this the same as part # 5l1t-14529-abw for a 2006 ford expedition?** A: I don't know.
