Usable but a Little Sheepish/Now Ripping Apart at Circles - Product Later Replaced by Company! :)
Maybe memory fails me but these didn't seem to be as good quality as the first one I bought several years ago. Both the underquilt and the pillow did have a weak smell of sheep. At least to me it was faint, but since I have a poor sense of smell, it was probably stronger than I thought.UPDATE 07/09/16 - I took away another star because when I went to flip over the Cuddle Ewe (happens every four weeks) I noticed a large number of the areas around the little circles was ripping/ripped apart. Can I still use it? Sure but I think I'm going to have to find a couple of sheets to sew together to make a giant pillow case for it for further protection. I will not buy this product again at this point.UPDATE 10/06/16 - I finally decided it was time to contact the company that makes these regarding the quality/tearing issue the middle of August 2016. The customer service was excellent with timely responses and prompt replacement service. Long story short I was asked to submit photos of the tearing, and a replacement was immediately made and sent to me. The quality of the fabric was more like the canvas material that I remembered from the first one I had purchased several years ago. This one, too, had a strong smell to it, which could just be something to which I'm more sensitive and has dissipated over the past several weeks. Based on this service, when the time comes, I will consider again replacing with this same product and may in the meantime try some of their other products.

A bit of a disappointment.The new one is not the same and is not as comfortable as my old one.Nothing is made like it was before
I purchased a cuddle ewe years ago it lasted a long time and the cover was almost like a canvas covering and quite heavy after many years it was time to replace it so I did and purchased another, I have to say it is not the same not as heavy not in a canvas covering but appears to be a thin like sheet a big difference from my old, bit disappointed, do not feel this new one is worth the price which was about what I spent on old one...So I can not give it the stars my old one received.. will contact company and see what they have to say...:{

Cuddle Ewe Under Quilt not up to the hype
I had heard so much about this product that I finally decided to try it. I have fibromyalgia and even the Sleep Number bed I have is not very comfortable, so I decided to try the Cuddle Ewe quilt. It's better than a plain mattress, but it flattens out within one night and needs daily "fluffing", and halfway through the night it "bottoms-out" again. I definitely don't think it's worth the price and the "free pillow" that is included is very flat and covered with a material that borders on plastic. It's not conducive to a good night's sleep. Over all, it's better than nothing, but not up to the hype the advertisers give it.

... have bought several Cuddle Ewes over the years and loved each one
I have bought several Cuddle Ewes over the years and loved each one. They appear to be using a cheaper cover material and the topper is not as comfortable. Odd as this topper was super. Still most likely superior filling inside than other toppers. I am disappointed in this one and they are not cheap. I will keep it though and keep trying it out as other toppers have been worse for pain issues.

For Joint and Back Pain
I had such difficult joint and back pain that I couldn't sleep well at night. The Cuddle Ewe softened my mattress to the point where it is very comfortable to lay on and easy to drift off quickly into dream land. I fluff it up about once a week to keep the batting high, otherwise, it is really a wonderful topper and you would have to fight me for it. Yes, I tried everything from several other mattress pads, new mattresses, and knock-out medications/supplements. The only alternative that has worked for me is this Cuddle Ewe mattress pad.

really disappointed
After reading the reviews and suffering from fibromyalgia, I thought this might help. Well, I really wasted over $300. After using it a couple of nights, the middle flattened out to about 1/2 inch. I tried shaking and fluffing it.....which is no easy task.....but it remained the same. Not at all comfortable. Would try to return it but don't have the strength to pack and haul it around. Complete waste of money.

Excellent product!
I have fibromyalgia secondary to a genetic connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobile Type. The latter is untreatable and incurable, and causes numerous problems, including chronic pain and frequent joint dislocation and partial dislocations, even during sleep. The Cuddle Ewe has greatly reduced my pain, my dislocations during sleep, and improved the quality of my sleep. Sometimes we find ourselves with impossible disorders, and when that happens I think we need to seek out the best devices and aides we can find to improve our quality of life. This has done that for me. I highly recommend the Cuddle Ewe!

Fantastic!
This is the fifth cuddle ewe under quilt I've purchased...3 for household beds, 2 for gifts.This is a beautiful product - when new, it is thickly luxurious and comforting to sink into... As it gets to "know your body" the under quilt becomes more compressed and contoured to you.It keeps you very warm in winter, cool in summer. I have been sleeping on one for 12 years, and it has supported very deep rest.I consider this to be one of the finest gifts I could share with someone as a wedding present, or as a therapeutic comfort in regards to age or illness.One of the greatest products - well done, Cuddle Ewe.
