I love this clock. When it arrived yesterday I was elated and immediately hung it in my office, which is what I'd intended it for. Given the heat where I live [it's 97 degrees Fahrenheit today] The curtains are drawn and the lights are off, so it's a bit darker than an office might usually be. I couldn't see the hands, at all, even when I moved around. The hands are the same tones as the clock face, though with a very subtle lighter edging. It wasn't enough to help; so I took my gold Sharpie and colored the hands then coated them with nail polish once they were dry. And now, I have the perfect clock.

I love this clock. Because of its low price point, I didn’t expect much. Luckily, I paid attention to previous reviews. The clock is very sturdy and well constructed. It does look fairly “retro,” not fake - as if some paint was slapped on at the last minute. I really like the look of the numbers, and they are easily read from a distance, even by old eyes. So far the clock is keeping perfect time. Did I mention that I ❤️ this clock?!

Really like the clock. Made well and I like the look of it. Unfortunately, the hands blend in to the color of the clock making it a bit difficult to read depending how far away you are standing. As painting is my hobby, I will be repainting the hands.

I selected the gold-finished clock as apposed to the silver. Arrived in ONE day for me here in Santa Clarita, which is awesome.The appearance of the clock is exactly as the pictures show, and honestly it's much prettier in person. Looks to be of good make, does not feel cheap at all, and came with an additional set of gold hands which one may switch with the black hands that already come on it. This is all admirable, considering the comparatively low price of the item... One thing I've just discovered about adulthood is how expensive clocks can generally be, especially if you want a nice looking one.It's a Christmas gift for my partner who is always complaining that we have no clock in our bathroom. So as far as how well the thing works, I will update my review after the holidays if there are any problems with it. However I really don't expect there to be any issues, as this clock is pretty highly reviewed, and I have a talent for avoiding the purchase of lemons anyhow.

Many readable clocks have a white face. This accomplishes this trait without it. Great price. So far working well. Good antiquing This was my third attempt at a wall clock in one month. Received 2 much more expensive clocks that did not work or keep accurate time. This one keeps very accurate time. Be sure to order and use carbon battery. Non-rechargable lithium battery appears to sustain well so far. Manufacturer recommends carbon for lengthy slow drain as opposed to high-performance output. I have carbon batteries now. Hard to find.

Good quality and packed nicely for shipping with an extra set of hands - bonus! I especially like the number cutout design ... any significant light in front or below casts a shadow making the numbers reflect off the wall. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because, in the photo, the clock appeared concave ... it’s flat and the battery box makes it stick out slightly from the wall.I’m happy with it.

I spent a long time looking for a wall clock that would look good in my living room, and was economical. This is the clock I chose, and I am glad that I did. I'm grateful that the seller sent gold and black hands for the clock. The gold ended up working better for me. Easy to give this clock a 5-Star rating.

This is a retired person's clock, (No ticking, Back light or third hand). All kidding aside this clock is very accurate and blends well with our decor. Nice simple clock.
