Magictec DT-34662 092502 Solar Lights, Cool White

I received my lights today and installed them, currently they have not had a full day to charge but they are perfect for what i needed and came on right on time when the sun set. The light produced has a yellow color to it, its not too bright but not dim at all. I am definitely pleased with these lights and would recomend then to anyone looking for lights to accent there home.

I wrote the original review after i got the first 2 lights, this is for my 2nd order. The lights i received were a different color. Now i have 3 different colors for the 4 different lights i have.If yellow or warm is what you are looking for then you found it. The lights are definitely not the bright white that most solar lights have. It's a warm light that looks yellow on white paint. But on just about any other color or surface, it's perfect. Compared to the ones I've seen at big lots or hardware stores, it's WAY better quality for a much better price. I like them. Plan to order 2 more.

I like the warm color of Warm Light, but it had no label, so don't know what temperature color it is. It is warmer than the Yellow one they are selling. Warmer than 3000 degrees. The actual light only rotates 45 degrees up and down, no swivel sides ways The solar cell can flip so it can be charge from front or back. On/Off switch is a push button so it is hard to press without putting pressure on the cell. Not ideal, but shouldn't have to use the switch that often. Seems of sturdy quality. Instructions talk about replacing batteries after 1.5 years. They put a coupon in the box for a $10 gift card if I gave them 5 stars. That's why they got 3. I now use Amazon as a last resort because you can't trust their reviews. Four years ago they were my first choice.

These things are BRIGHT. Not the small amount of light I expected from most solar lights you find and lowe's or home depot. I bout a set of two to light up some newly planted trees in my backyard. I love this things and I'll be ordering more. the Low setting is extremely Strong..you may not even need the High setting being that it's so Bright. The pictures I took are on the Low setting. The light emitted is amber/yellow...not blue...not white, not Bluish-white. It's a warm yellow. The solar panels are large..about the size of a cell phone. I put these in the sun to charge at 10am. By dusk, these things kicked in and the put out some serious light. I've only used them for a day but hopefully they hold up over time. I'll be buying more.

These are nice warm lights. Bright enough to light up a wall but not the bright white that looks like a prison break. I live in Fl and it's summer so they charge up quick and last longer than I can stay up. Good buy for the money.UPDATE: I bought a second set because these lights are great. A nice warm light that lasts almost until morning and recharge during the day. After hurricane Irma we lost power and used these to light the inside of the house at night. Even with cloud cover the lights lasted 4 -5 hrs on low.

Item is as described, but after dark when the lights come on, they hardly last longer than a few hours. After seeing them come on and coming back a few hours later, all of the lights were off. They get plenty of sunlight throughout the day (~4-5 hours each) but I guess solar power doesn't last on these.Update: Seller reached out to me immediately after writing this review and offered me the choice of a refund or replacement. I updated my review to 5 stars for unmatched customer service.2nd Update: Item has stopped working before being a year old. Both lights have gone out completely. To be honest, I would save yourself the time and just hook up a low voltage system. I've tried so many different solar applications and none of them are up to par.

I have been very impressed with these lights. Granted we have cloud free days for the most part but the lights are subject to shade when the sun moves behind nearby trees.I estimate the lights are getting six hours of sunlight a day. The result has been approximately nine hours of light each night. Even as the sun rises the lights are still illuminating the trees. The only drawback is the lights produce more of a spotlight effect, a bit narrow, and not a floodlight pattern. However, this is a very minor drawback as they have been very impressive since day one.

Excellent warm yet bright yellow light. On a mostly sunny day, with the lights on the low setting, there has been enough of a charge from one day's sun to power the lights though the night until dawn. Both the lights and solar panel have their own, easy to set vertical angle adjustment. It is important to note; the solar panel will not rotate horizontally relative to its alignment with the light bulbs. Thus, the angle you may want to point your lights, may limit the solar panel's exposure to the sun. The adjustments you have and this limitation can be easily seen in the photos provided here. However, even with about a 30 per cent reduction in the optimum angle from the sun, in a area with about 40 percent shade, one of my lights has worked well. The lights do have a pretty large solar panel for its batteries; probably making less than ideal solar exposure conditions possible. Given the price, and performance, I would give these lights a five star rating.
