Not even close to OEM quality...
I don't know if MB started cutting corners or what, but the black star that showed up was nowhere near the non-black unit I removed from my E63. The twist-to-lock mechanism on the unit I took off had a very nice, heavy, action to it. The black one felt like I was going to break it just trying to move the twist-to-lock back and forth. When installing it it started to separate from the cylinder itself, so I stopped as I didn't want to break it. Put it all back in the box and returned it. Not worth it.

Fell apart when I tried to install. The mechanism only has to twist and lock one single time ever and it failed to do even that.

great! installed pretty good! looks sooooo nice on your benz. ignore the other comments because they just don’t have patients for installing it:) it takes 5 min to install! i recommend this to anyone who is looking for a replacement or new part on your benz! thank you seller!
