Love this little guy. Just bought a 2nd one after my 5 year old son and 3 year old kept fighting over it. It's hard to find a good RC car that doesn't use battery packs. I use AA rechargeable batteries and they last far longer than any battery pack. That's what happens when you have a 750 mAH pack and 4 AA's each holding 1000 man's.

The gears stripped from the axle shaft before the first set of batteries went dead. Poorly built axles. The plastic gear needs more than just pressed onto a knurled shaft. It was a blast before that though. They climbed through all the piled up Christmas toys really well. I bought 2 and they both suffered the same fate. If they had even lasted a whole day I would give them 3 stars.

Originally I wrote a negative review because it didn’t work, but Amazon pulled through and sent my son another one and it works great. My 9 yr old loves it
