I recommend this Supcase for a Tab S 10.5
I am glad I ordered this case over the more expensive Otter. The case is slimmer and is very well made and was a lot less money. The Tab S fits perfectly in this case. All of the ports are accessible and all plugs work without forcing or having to remove the case. It is easy to hold in your hand compared to the other "O" case. It is rugged and my Tab S has not been damaged from dropping yet or spilling of liquid on it. I have used this case for about a year now and It still looks new with exceptions to minor scratches on the screen protector which is normal after a year of heavy use. The scratches on the protector can't be seen once the Tab is turned on. The screen is easily cleaned with a micro cloth and I use a little spray of eyeglass cleaner with it.Some of the other reviewers noted a "oil slick" rainbow colors on the screen. I can see that too if I have a fluorescent light on but incandescent or natural light I can't see the "oil slick". I also can't see it once the Tab S is turned on. Other reviewers recommended cleaning the screen carefully before putting in the case but it did not seem to make a difference in the rainbow effect on mine. It is not bothersome to me since it does not interfere with my viewing.

Fits like a glove
Having already had to pay $200 to replace a broken screen, I looked at several protective cases for my tablet. I was impressed with the good reviews of this SUPCASE and the Bobj. For me, there were three deciding factors: The SUPCASE is less bulky, which means it will take up less space when I travel; It has a sleeker look; and, most importantly, I just didn't like the rubbery feel of the other case. I should say, that I decided to use the Skinomi Tech Glass screen protector, so I removed the plastic protector that is part of the SUPCASE. (It pulls out easily - but this is not a reflection on how it would work if applied properly, I just wanted the glass protector.) The case fits like a glove, does not interfere with any buttons, plugs, etc., and makes my tablet easier to hold. I don't plan to test it's "drop protection" - but it feels like it would do its job. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

One of the best looking, yet secure, protective slim case
Update: still great case- a lot of liquids spilled, numerous drops, no cracks or damage to the case and more importantly, no damage to tablet.Only minuses- the "oil stain" screen is distracting and noticeable during dark scenes in a movie. 2. The card slot is not accessible without removing the case.Fit and finish are superb. I didn't have the issue with fingerprint reader as some people report, I registered my print after putting on case, maybe that helped? "clamshell design" impressed me as it protected front and back and made a tight joint when fitted together. It was ea-sy to apply, just take your time and did not leave any bubbles - no need to "squeegee" as the front screen is attached and it just snaps into place. It comes in 2 pieces and you put the face on first and once that clips around the tablet you then work your away around the edges with the bottom shell- it will "roll over the edge of the top creating a tight seal. very secure it will not "pop off" if dropped as my 5 year old demonstrated that same day walking into the jack in the box. No damage to tablet! Another reviewer mentions "oil slick" look to screen - I saw it initially, but it was not really noticeable unless you really looked for it. Another reviewer mentioned the screen was not as slick to the touch as the original screen- I noticed that to, but a couple hours later it was not noticeable and next day totally forgot about it. Doesn't interfere with the fingerprint reader. I like that the profile is slim (if I hadn't seen the tablet naked I would of thought it was the original case), yet still will protect your tablet. I absolutely will buy another supcase for my other tablet and phone. If I decide to by another tablet or phone one of the top criteria will be if supcase makes a case for it!

Probably the best bang for your buck
Pros-Heavy duty and durablePrice is unbeatableFeels great in handsAttractiveCons-Lack of clear instructionsScreen protectorOverall, I give this four stars because you can't beat the price for the quality. I've owned many other brands of heavy duty cases that cost two to three times the cost of this and wear out very quickly. Don't see that happening with this, due to the rigidity of the case- which makes it a tad bit tricky to take on and off, but it feels nice, snug, protective, and DURABLE most of all. I also like that the case isn't bulky like some of the others I looked at. It has a natural feel in your hands.I took off a star because first, it didn't come with great instructions for installation, seeing as how the instruction video pertains to the ipad- but you don't have to be a genius to figure it out. My second complaint is the screen protector which seems to attract lint and dust while you're installing it (which will end up trapped underneath it if you don't clean it thoroughly) and has a slight rainbow glare to it under certain lighting. I'd still recommend the case though.

Does not protect from drops
We purchased this case earlier in the month because my daughter's Otter box case had a crack in the edge. I was hoping to "save" her tablet that she has had for 2.5 years by replacing it with this case. That did not happen! Apparently there has been several hairline cracks that we hadn't noticed over the last 2 weeks she had the case (which were not present at all when i switched the cases) and this last time she dropped it (which she has done thousands of times before) it completely messed up the tablet. The repair is beyond fixing the screen... it actually damaged something internally so that it is cheaper to replace then to repair! Spend the extra money and get the otter box!!
