Aura 8 AFCS

I have these in all of my planes. I fly mostly 60”-67” 3D planes and a couple of civilian and Warebird planes. If your a bad pilot these won’t make you better. That requires practice.However, if you have decent flying skills, this will help smooth out some rough areas and also negates the wind making flights more enjoyable.You can turn the control on and off at your radio as you fly. If you set it up on a 3 position switch, you can have off/low/ high,, or however you wish to set it. I generally turn it off for some 3D stunts like pop tops, blenders, tumbles etc., on low for other 3 D stunts like prop hangs, harriers etc., and high for IMAC and sport type flying.The programing is pretty straight forward. I keep it simple and continue to use my transmitter for expo and throw rates. I only use the Aura for three axis flight control.Start with the gains set low like 10 or so and work up from there. Sport planes and Warbirds gains can usually be set a bit higher.Aura’s are great flight controllers and I highly recommend learning how to use them.Hope this helps!

I brought this to help on windy days and when landing on our runway with cross winds. If you don't have these problems no worries but at our air field we do and this set up does a nice job...Mike
