2 months of owning the Zagg Portable Universal Keyboard with Stand
This keyboard is currently being used with my iPad Mini 4 and I was actually super impressed with it in the beginning with the backlit keyboard, the instant bluetooth connection and so on. I liked the specialized buttons that call up the apps so i can just swipe left and right to switch apps, and how quickly it moves the bluetooth connection from my iPad to iPhone with the f1 and f2 keys. About a month in though, and I forgot which day it happened, it just suddenly started being laggy. I thought at first that it was already needing a charge, but upon checking with the keystrokes to call up the battery power (three green flashes at the top right button after pressing ctrl and fn at the same time, confirms it still had full battery) I couldn’t figure out why it was laggy. I tried re-pairing it with both iOS devices to no avail. This keyboard was laggy for the longest time until only until recently about a week ago, it started acting normal again. Maybe it was a weird fluke? I do like that the cover turns into a stand and as I have a fairly small lap I can actually type with this keyboard and the iPad on my lap. From reading the other reviews I thought the battery would last longer but I did recently have to charge it already. One thing that peeves me though is how much the inside of the cover, which is some kind of suede like material, is such a dust, lint and fur magnet! Although now that it's back to normal, I can actually say I am quite happy with this purchase.(All this was typed up on the said Zagg keyboard by the way.)

Excellent Lightweight Portable Keyboard
Update - July 24, 2020I recently thought the “D” key was starting to hit and miss. I turned the keyboard upside down and gently tapped the bottom of it. That seems to have corrected the problem. In the meantime I ended up ordering a replacement keyboard. I ordered the exact same model. That’s how much I like the Zagg Flex Slim keyboard. As soon as I received the “replacement” keyboard and fully charged it, I paired it with the same iPhone 11 Pro that my original Zagg Flex keyboard is paired with. I was a little concerned how well having two of the same model keyboards paired with the same phone would work, but I didn’t have anything to worry about. Whichever of the two keyboards I decide to use, all I have to do is open the keyboard’s cover, and it immediately connects. And, I’m able to seamlessly switch between the two keyboards, even in mid-sentence, without missing a beat. ≈One other thing I’ve noticed, even though I use this keyboard regularly, I’ve never run out of battery, and I rarely ever recharge it.I love the Zagg Flex Slim portable keyboard, and I would recommend them to a friend.Update - February 15, 2020I’ve moved up to an iPhone 11 Pro, and the my Zagg Flex is still working perfectly. It paired perfectly with the 11 Pro, and I use the Flex all the time. The rechargeable battery still holds a strong charge, and I’ve never had it die on me. The keys are still nice and responsive, and the detachable cover/cellphone holder shows no sign of wear, even after many hours of use during the last 13 months of use.Update - September 25, 2019I’ve only recharged this keyboard twice, since purchasing it, and that was just to “top it off.” I use this keyboard with my iPhone 8, and with my iPad, all the time, and I love it.Update - July 2, 2019I purchased this keyboard around the end of January 2019, and I couldn’t be happier with it. This is one of those products that truly does earn all five stars. It’s lightweight, portable, and solidly built, and dependable. The keys are crisp and there’s no annoying extra spacing, skipping, or key sticking. The keys are reasonably large, even for my fat, old man, fingers. The Bluetooth never fails to connect, and there’s no on/off button to worry about, since it powers off instantly once the detectable keyboard cover is closed. If there’s anything negative about this keyboard, I haven’t found it, and I use it on a regular basis. I highly recommend this keyboard.Original review:Let me begin by saying, this is definitely the best Bluetooth keyboard and stand that I’ve ever owned.I just received the Zagg Flex keyboard and detachable stand today, fired it up, paired it with my iPhone 8, and stated putting it through it’s paces. I’ve had so many other Bluetooth keyboards over the last few years, some good, some not so good, so now I don’t waste any time getting a new one up and running right away.Pairing this keyboard with my iPhone was simple and fast, this coming from a guy in his 70’s. The backlit keys are confortably space, and very crisp and responsive. As a touch typist, I find this to be a very important feature. The keys are in the standard QWERTY pattern, with none of the odd key placements that I’ve found on other compact keyboards. The key backlighting offers a choice of seven different colors, with the option of turning off the backlight feature, to conserve battery power. There’s even a key that lets you instantly check the keyboard’s battery level. The folding cover is magnetized, and when it is opened, or when it is closed, it automatically turns the keyboard on or off. I’m not sure what material the cover is made of, but it’s thin, lightweight, and the surface is very soft to the touch. It folds over the keyboard and completely covers it, when closed. When open, it forms a platform to hold your phone or tablet. My cellphone is equipped with an Otterbox case, which gives the phone a bit of additional girth, but it still sits securely in the stand, whether in the portrait or the landscape position. The quick start manual that comes with this keyboard is clear, concise, and easy to follow. According to the Quick Start manual, additional instructions are available online. Those are the “Pros,” as I see them. If there are any “Cons,” I’ve yet to find them. This keyboard and stand are well worth the money.

Workable, but far from ideal.
A functional keyboard when it functions. Unfortunately its function was short-lived for me, as after the initial charge the battery got me through about a week of light use before putting it away on my desk for a couple weeks. When I next went to use it, the battery was depleted and I cannot get it to take a charge. Wondering if I managed to get a defective unit.Besides the battery issue I was otherwise unimpressed by this keyboard, functional though it may have been. The device stand was not complicated but not particularly intuitive either, and the magnets could not support the weight of a small tablet in portrait mode, nor was it lap usable in any configuration. Worst of all, there was substantial lag when typing. Not so much that it would miss keystrokes, just enough to be very noticeable and somewhat distracting.Does it work? Yes. Does it work well? No. You're getting what you pay for, and you're paying for a cheap Bluetooth keyboard.

My review of ZAGG flex
You have to prop the part that holds the tablet into a triangle or else it will slip. I have seen people complain about this not holding the tablet but if you try to prop it where the tablet is facing straight at you or too far up it's going to fall. I sit on my bed prop it where the tablet is facing up a little it works fine. The ability to take the keyboard off & use it with the tablet a little bit away from me so I don't have to be right up on it keeps it from falling & makes it more comfortable. The keyboard can be paired to 2 different things and with a switch of a button can be switched back and forth if you want to use it with a tablet and a phone if you have a tablet with a USB port or micro USB adapter to regular USB you can use a wireless mouse by plugging in a sensor or you can plug in a USB flash drive but if you only have 1 port that requires you use your finger or stylus on a touchscreen but with those things & the keyboard & tablet holder it's kind of like using a small laptop. The charge time & time of use for a charge is great. I can use them for a few days off a single charge & there's a few different colors you can change the background of the keyboard to with different brightness.

Teclado bom para anotações
Fácil instalação e bateria durável, comprei para o meu namorado utilizar na faculdade e realmente transforma o tablet em um notebook para anotações. Precisa apenas se acostumar com a questão das configurações ABNT-2

Defective
Out of the box, several keys do not work - h, j, m, n, u, y. I tried with 2 phones, so the fault is definitely the keyboard.
