I didn’t love it or hate it. A pretty interesting story but the writing was a bit choppy to me.

It arrived quickly and in nice condition.

The book was readable but wasn't in the best shape. The cover was ripped off and it also didn't match the one pictured.

Fantastic edition of a classic novel. Great for collectors!

So I've seen the movie many times. The book very different, in my opinion. I wasn't scared until I got to one part of the book. After reading that one part (won't give it away) it took me two days to pick the book up again. I've finished it and threw it away. Books don't normally scare me but this one got me good!

Surprisingly good book. Somewhat like the movie only better. The movie covers about half the book. Literally a one day read.

I needed something in my cart in order to qualify for free shipping and remembered I always wanted to read The Exorcist, so I found this item. Unfortunately, it is the script, not the novel. There is nothing in the title or description that would tell you that this is the script. It was only when I happened to glance at the "Product Data" section of the website (after I received it), an area I never look at, that I noticed it was ranked #13 in the Bestseller Script category. This should not be the only place on the page that indicates this is the script. It should be clearly, parenthetically mentioned in the title or the description, not buried in the sales ranking.

Like many readers, I had watched the 1973 movie classic a long time ago. Recently, upon being gifted an extended Blu Ray version of the film by a pal, I decided to finally read the book: the source of the film & so many controversies over the years. I was not disappointed, thankfully.This being the shopping 'experience' review, I won't dwell on the book's pros & cons. Suffice to say that it serves to resolve many unanswered questions and scenarios from the film. To anyone, whether a believer or not, I would gladly recommend the book. Do read this twice. Once, for the story itself. The second time for the language and its fine nuances. A masterpiece, in every sense of the word.A word on shipping. The book's packaging could have been better. Also, please note, it will take a while to reach you, should you order one. Something to do with their supply chain bottlenecking, I guess.Happy reading. Krishanu C.
