I'm happy with this vest!
IT'S a really nice jacket! I'm thankful for the straps and velcro closure. I do wish the chest part of the vest was a little longer. My dog has a very broad chest...as many dogs do, the velcro barely attached. I was hoping it didn't detach when my dog was swimming, but I felt confident that the tether straps would hold him in if it happened. He did well with the vest. It held him in, and gave us confidence that he would be safe swimming in our pool. I would suggest not using the leash ring for any dog over 10 pounds if they pull. Why take a chance? The handle looks sturdy and felt sturdy if it was needed to pull the dog up out of the water. Make sure to adjust the vest to a snug fit for your pet, it needs to be snug in order to do its job. All in all....It seems comfortable and does it's job.Pros: Works well.Cons: Could use a little bit more material for chest area to accomodate broad chested breeds.My dog's breed: Miniature German PinscherWeight: 25#Size ordered: MediumSuggestion for sizing : Consider ordering close to the size T-shirt your dog would wear.

Bought this product for my 98lb Bullador (American Bulldog x Labrador Retriever Mix)It fits him perfectly after tightening the straps a bit. The velcro is a bit of a pain but I love the productand my dog does not fight with me when putting it on him, plan on buying again for my aunts dog and my friends dog.

Works great as a life vest
I have a 110 pound lab/Dane and the extra large barley fits but it does. My dog looks so cute in it. Everyone has commented about it. Works great as a life vest. My dog just floats around the lake barley paddling his front feet.

Design and workmanship are okay, but runs EXTREMELY SMALL. I ordered a large for my 73 pound lab and it was tiny.

Fit lab and golden but the fin doesn't stand up
This fit both of my dogs, but I used it as a Halloween costume, so I haven't used it in water yet. I have a 95 lb golden retriever and a 80 lb lab and neither seemed bothered by the life perserver. I think it kept my lab warm while we were at our truck or treat event.The reason for 4 stars is because the shark fin didn't stand up like in the picture. To make it stand up, I added stitches to the front and back of the fin to stabilize it. This seemed to work and my lab became a great white shark for the night.

So far I have no complaints!
So far so good, the XL fits my 55lb pitbull/chow mix pretty well. Got it for him to go SUP boarding with me but haven't had a chance to test it out yet. Will update once we actually use it in the water. It's really cute but it's more important that it keeps my dog afloat.

I'd buy it again.
Worked well for my Labrador retriever, Buck. I liked the carry handle and used it to boost Buck into the bed of my pickup. I ordered using the size chart and the fit was perfect. Well made easy to put on... the dog.

like the jacket
like the jacket....first one ripped after 6 uses.....so a bit concerned.They gave me half off another vest as it was past 30 days. hope the next one lasts longer.Good fit easy to use.
