Emurphybed Daily Delight Murphy Cabinet Chest Bed with Charging Station & 6" Memory Foam Mattress, Queen (Java)

Our cabinet bed arrived today, and my husband and I just finished putting it together. With both of us on the job, it took about 2 hours, but honestly, it was not complicated at all. The directions are clear and everyone is well labeled. It is beautiful and heavy, but it is definitely very well constructed. Some people have wondered about the java color...it's like a dark, walnut brown and is constructed with NICE, stained, quality wood, not crappy particle board, so you can be confident it's a great looking piece. Yes, they deliver curb side, so having a hand truck to move each box to where you need it may be helpful, or heck, pay for set up and inside delivery to save you time and hassle. A word of caution: we intended for this bed to be in a small guest room in our condo. While it looks great, and the mattress already seems to be comfortable (yes, I laid on it to check!), you must have about 30 - 30 1/2 inches on EACH side in order to fully open and fold back the cabinet doors. We did not account for that, and thus cannot fully open the right side door, as you can see in the picture. Honestly, other than this, the cabinet bed is pretty awesome. I would suggest that the seller put the information about the space needed to fold back the doors into the spec section, so no one else runs into this issue. If you have the space for this and are looking for a dark wood cabinet bed, this is the one to buy!

This bed was dangerous for me to use as it was designed. I had to leave it up 24/7 because I was afraid after injuring myself to put it away. You definitely need two people to put the bed away or pull it out. The design doesn’t allow for safety of putting it away alone. I smashed my fingers when putting it away and fractured my toe on a piece that sticks out from the base of the bed. It isn’t flush with the bed so there is that risk as well. Also, dealing with the company when I conveyed this concern was awful! Amazon did not help either! The entire return request was bungled by Amazon and the claim process. I will never purchase an expensive piece of furniture from this company or Amazon again!

So far so good. This is a beautiful, sturdy piece of furniture that we are proud to own and display.It was easy to assemble, but at no time do you look at it and think you put it together.Haven't had guests sleep on it yet, but tested the mattress and it is very comfortable.

Took about 1-1/2 hours for my son and me to put it together before Super Bowl weekend!! Worked great and was comfortable! Not a coil mattress but still very comfortable. Great purchase!

We are very happy with this purchase. Looks great and is exactly what we wanted. A quality product with a comfortable bed. Love it!
