TRANVERS Cross Luggage Straps For Suitcase Plus Luggage ID Slot Heavy Duty Adjustable

I have 2 suitcases that have been banged around a lot, been to Japan twice. My son dragged his down the staircase and weakened the locks. He taped it shut and made it back home OK. At first I was going to toss it out but decided to check on Amazon, glad I did.Each package contains a set of straps. One for the length and one for the girth. There is a thin leather patch that connects the two, keeps them at a right angle to each other, like Christmas wrapping ribbon. I bought a set for both of the suitcases. I was a little afraid that one wouldn't fit because it says the maximum length is 79" and our large suitcase is 79" around on the longest side, But fear not, it fits perfectly. You must adjust the straps to fit your suitcase but once you have it snug you just buckle / unbuckle each strap to open / close the suitcase. On the longer strap there is a small pocket where you can put a business card or ID tag.I haven't tested them yet but they appear to be very sturdy nylon straps and the buckles lock on both sides. It looks pretty secure to me. The bright green makes them easy to spot coming down the luggage return. For the small price, I have 2 good suitcases again. Good service from the vendor too. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Fantastic strap, it's already survived several trips and keeps my bag secure while making it easy to identify.If there's just one thing I don't like about it, it's that it seems to get dirty very easily. I never realized how dirty the baggage handling process must be, but after one trip this had picked up its fair share of dirt. I haven't tried washing it yet, but hopefully that could help out a bit.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to any looking to give their luggage a bit more security and themselves a bit more peace of mind.

These straps fit great on my luggage. I ordered them in light purple. The only thing I hate is that they were very dirty after one use. Purple was pretty, but a darker color would have been better for sure!

I used this strap on an international flight with a stopover and both ways my luggage came out with the strap intact and still in position. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing. In order to accomodate the baggage handlers I made sure the straps ran under all the handles. To avoid theft I wrote my name in permanent marker along the straps. I had both closures on the back of the suitcase where they were less likely to rub open. Initially it was a little tricky to figure out how to put it on but was easier when I fully extended both straps then tightened them after they were in position. I am very happy with this purchase.

I really like this cross luggage strap. I've used it on checked luggage on a long distance train ride as well as flying cross country. It is easy to put on and it makes you feel like your luggage is definitely not going to pop open unexpectedly from rough handling, no matter how full you stuffed your suitcase. I like how wide the straps are and how sturdy the clips feel. It definitely does not feel like it's going to break. They were pretty filthy after my train ride, so I threw them in the washing machine and they came out looking just like new.I would definitely recommend this product to others, and would purchase it again if I ever needed another luggage strap.

These were a little hard to figure out. With a little work we got it. Worked well, easy to spot our luggage. Store it in the bag it fits on for easy use the second time.

these are great luggage straps! love the cross style because if my luggage ever breaks i feel that it will hold the case closed. i got the yellow ones and it made spotting my luggage a pinch too. it does take a little extra time to get it adjusted perfectly but for the security and peace of mind it's totally worth it. i don't lock my suitcases and before there was always a little anxiety of wether or not my luggage was going to be rummaged through but with these straps i feel confident that an unscrupulous airport employee would look at my suitcase and say to himself "forget this case, too much trouble to open"
