Chirps Cricket Flour Chips - 1.25oz. (Pack of 6) (Cheddar)

Had not a great flavor because of the oil they use in making the chips. The cricket part is good and you can't taste them or anything... just the chips themselves were made with cheap oil or the chips were kinda stale when I got them

I'm sure this is the wave of the future but could only get through them with salsa

Needs salt!

OMG this chip is horrible, i have this old Oily tasted in my mouth after eating it. I thought I got a bad bag, but I open another bag it still have the same taste. UGH. I ate cricket before and this isn't come close to what I had I the past.

I bring these chips to school. People are interested and try them. They like it! It's much better with dip, though.

For better or worse, I can't tell if there are bugs in the chips. Part of me wishes I could because that would be cool, but most of me understands that the point is to make eating crickets more accessible to everyone in our critter-averse America.Philosophies aside, the chips are pretty good. Good crunch, solid nutty and bean-y flavor from the non-cricket components, lightly salted. Definitely not a light crispy Lays/Pringle/Tostitos-type chip, that's for sure - so buy this expecting a heftier chip experience, which makes it a more-filling, substantial snack. For the workout warriors among us, these are a great pre or post workout snack for the complex carbs and proteins to hold us through or after exercise until a more complete meal.Excellent with guacamole and salsa.
