Essential kit for the DJI Osmo Pocket enabling a secure connection between the Osmo and your smartphone. Needs the appropriate connector that came with your Osmo Pocket., but provides a much more secure link. There are many similar devices coming onto the market now, but, this one is tough and fits perfectly being easily adjusted and securely hold the Osmo and Smartphone. The handle screws into the 1/4 20 fitting on the base of the phone holder and has foldout tripod legs and a wrist lanyard. This provides a versatile and stable base/ handle with the extra security of the wrist lanyard. Very impressed and good value item.

Build quality is good and holds everything firmly in place. Tripod is nice but a little small for my big hands but the added advantage of the screw on thread means I’ve been able to swap it out for a bigger grip.

Big thank you to the seller for resolving the issue so quickly; I was missing the small adaptor that connects the tripod to the sliding adaptor; the thread on the top tripod would not be long enough without this.Like the look and feel of the mount is of good quality; great for securing the Osmo pocket when doing time lapse.

The media could not be loaded. **Contents**1 x Phone holder mount1 x Osmo Pocket mount1 x Mini tripod1 x Wrist strap1 x Allen key1 x Set of instructionsAfter buying the DJI Osmo Pocket and using it for a few weeks I have realised that I do not trust the connection between the pocket and the phone that much so with that in mind I decided to look for a mount that I could attach a tripod to and could house the phone all in one unit and low and behold I stumble across this beauty. After looking at the pictures and doing some research I decided to give this one a shot as it ticked all the boxes of what I was looking for but also had cold shoe mount which is awesome. When this arrived getting it all set up was not a problem and literally took all of 2 minutes if that and we were up and running. I am pleased to say that this is very well constructed with both the phone holder and the tripod being constructed out of a metal material which does indeed feel really strong and sturdy and the DJI Osmo Pocket holder being constructed out of a plastic material but still sturdy never the less which is impressive as some of these that I have tried have been made out of cheap plastic that wont last the month. They also include a wrist strap with this as well which I was not expecting but a welcome addition also.To get this setup is a fairly simple process you take the phone holder and the Osmo Pocket, holder and with the Skyreat logo facing upwards you attach the Osmo Pocket adapter to the bottom tripod mount and then once that is done you simply screw the tripod into the bottom of the Osmo Pocket adapter and there you have it once this is complete you attach the Osmo Pocket into the Osmo adapter and then install your phone and your up and running. The benefits to using this over just using the Osmo Pocket into the standalone phone is that the connector that sits on the pocket and into the phone is going to be held in place more securely meaning there's no chance the connector or phone could accidentally get snapped off or sag over time but more importantly you can tripod mount it anywhere all in a small compact fashion. The included extra with using this setup is also the ability to connect a microphone or light source to the included cold shoe mount on the top and in my case I will be using the Rode wireless go microphone to give the pockets already fairly decent audio an even better one. After testing out multiple variants and different style mounts this has to be my favorite and it's all down to the construction materials used and the benefits that it overs for in my opinion a very decent price so with that said This comes highly recommended from myself and I think anyone who owns this or a similar rig will benefit greatly from it.The reason that this is getting a 4 star review instead of a 5 after saying how much I love it is based on the fact that where the Osmo Pocket adapter sits on the pocket it can actually mark/scuff the pocket depending on how you remove the pocket from that adapter so please be aware to be gentle when removing/installing your pocket so you do not do this. The grip that the Osmo pocket adapter has is very good so the pocket will not fall out or sag so that's good but the tradeoff is that it is so tight that it can mark or scuff as mentioned above but if you install your pocket as I do then you should be fine I simply apply a bit of pressure to one side of the adapter before installing and removing so the grip isn't as tight upon install and remove and so far this has worked well for me. For future reference and for a v2 version of this they could avoid this by using a tension arm on the pocket adapter like they do on the phone holder which is adjustable and this would avoid any potential damage.

This product damaged the Osmo Pocket casing. The Osmo Pocket holder only has a protective silicone on one side of the Osmo Pocket and it is vey right fitting. This has resulted in the Osmo Pocket case being damaged. Returning mine and will be looking for another product. Very disappointed as Skytreat produce good quality good but have failed on this occasion. I also did not receive the lanyard.

Ordered this for my Osmo pocket, item is well made, the handle opens up as a tripod, and is very stable.Now the one minor gripe the part that holds the Osmo Pocket only has protective material on on one side, so the Osmo when it's pushed in to the holder is being gripped by the metal of the holder on one side, why is there no protective material on both sides so you don't scratch your Osmo when pushing it in to the holder and taking it out.Only Skyreat know why it doesn't have protection on both sides of the holder. A strange design flaw.
