Honey Blood, Vol. 2 (2)

As others have noted, the story abruptly ends without resolution. At the very least, you learn the origin of the love story and possible complications, which allows you to draw your own conclusions about what's happening. Even with that, though, a lot of holes exist. It's sad that this series couldn't have been more developed - it did have promise and the art is decent. If you can't overlook an underdeveloped and unresolved plot, skip the series. If you can take the love story at face value or if you enjoy making up your own ending, then pick it up. With the limited information given, I think it's entirely possible to come up with a satisfying ending in your head - especially since it seems to be developing in a stereotypical way. But it is frustrating to know that the author had it planned out and knows how it ends, but doesn't share that in the closing pages. To me, personally, I enjoyed it and could see where the author ultimately wanted to go. I think it would have been something along the lines of Black Bird, but with vampires instead of demons, if that helps at all. (Black Bird is a very good series, btw - not without some issues, especially in the beginning, but that evens out into a well-developed and touching story.)

I love reading this Manga. I have the both books. It was a great one that I will reread over and over. It was great. I hated that it ended

I loved this story.

I was hoping we would get more context in the Vol. 2 but then I found out only two volumes were ever written so my hopes for it getting better quickly were shot down. Overall, Vol. 2 was good but then certain events happen, we meet the other vampire in charge of the attacks, but that was it. There was no resolution, no conflict between the two vampires who used to be friends. They also never mentioned how Junya accidentally killed his first love.I only give it 3 stars because I did enjoy the characters even if the plot was choppy and there was really no conclusion for most of what happened in the mangas.
