Not a problem for me, but might be for others. **Q: The Heng's (90037-C1) 12V Vent motor is showing the demensions of 8.3 x 4.1 x 0.1 are these dimensions correct.** A: Just replaced my range hood fan motor with Heng's 90037-C1 in my 2017 Salem. Don't know why the year old motor failed. Old motor was a .85 AMP. The new motor is 1.6 AMP and operates stronger. This replacement fits perfect in my unit. **Q: I know that it has a D shaped shaft, but what size is the shaft? Last one lasted 8 years, here’s hoping this one does also. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a GREAT replacement fan motor *by V***. on April 23, 2017* This is a GREAT replacement fan motor, How ever , I reused the old fan in my stove hood and it slid right on the D Shaft and then a small problem.... the fan could slide off too. I then notice a small groove on the D Shaft, which I needed to keep the fan on. I DID Not receive that clip, So I took a twist tie strip off the coating and installed it & twisted tight / SAFETY WIRE right! It Work great. That why I only give 4 Stars . You should get a retainer clip if they're going to groove that D Shaft.
