I’m searching for plastic straw alternatives. Paper straws always get too soggy. I use silicone straws, but sometimes you just want to use something disposable. I saw these cane straws and decided to give them a shot.They’re pretty sturdy. I wouldn’t bite them or squeeze too hard, but they weren’t cracked in the package. They do soften up in liquids, so be aware of that.They work well, but the taste! I’ve only tried them with water thus far, so they may work better in smoothies or flavored drinks. But in water, the taste is unpalatable and leaves a faint bitter taste in my mouth. It tastes the way a hay bale smells.I probably will not order these again.I’ll update once I use them with a smoothie or other beverage and let y’all know how they taste.

me llegaron varios rotos son muy frágileses un material bastante fragil y la caja que vienen esta abierta en la mitad lo que hace que el producto no este bien protegido

They had nothing protecting them from dirt with the open window on the package. Some had black on them, they smelled like mildew. I could not let my kids use them. I tossed them in the trash.

Too fragile, don’t last, cracked first time I used it. Had to put them in compost. Do not recommend.

Love that they are wide enough for smoothies!!!
