The Handmaid`s Tale Costume Red Cape

I love that they stick to the way it's designed in the Handmaid's Tale show. The only thing that is off a little is the arm openings. You will have to cut and restitch them on the upper part if you want a good range of motion while wearing it, especially if you plan on holding a protest sign with it. Good materials, good stitching. I definitely recommend!

Nice quality! But runs kind of small. Wish I had sized up from my normal size, partly due to wear the arm holes are placed. I’ll be altering it before I wear it but it’s a nice color , nice quality , just order up!

I bought this for cosplay at a convention and it’ll be fine for what it is, but the color is more maroon than red and the shoulders are very tight. I generally wear a size 8-10 (M), but chose to purchase this in a large. I’m not broad shouldered, and small chested, and this is very tight on my shoulders and chest. I’ll provably have to wear it unbuttoned because if I breathe too big or move too much the buttons pop right open. I’m a little disappointed, but I don’t have time to return it or try to find something else...so basically, it’ll have to do.

This works perfect for my handmaid’s tale costume. I bought a red shirt from Walmart that was the exact color match and it made the outfit even better. It was a hit at the costume party.

For the price it's great. For me, size 44 top, the XXL is small in the shoulders, but can be let out. If you are larger than 2x top, it probably won't fit.

Color was not candy apple red and more like a msroon.. the should width was extremely small and fit terribly.. I was asked if I was a vampire or super hero...

It was good for a costume but be aware that the fabric is not this vibrant red. It's more of a maroon color. Also, make sure to get a size up. I normally wear a medium and this medium was tight on the arms and kept opening up in the front.

Perfect for when the masters put us all under lock and key. Praise be.
