I put it in anything with a crankcase
I was first introduced to Hyperlube 23 years ago. A farmer told me about it. He had been using in all his pickups and tractors for 30 years before that. I have since used it in everything from motorcycles to lawnmowers. Never had a motor failure. For at least 10 years I have been only using synthetic oil as well for all my motors. Wish it worked for transmissions. Might also be great with peanut butter on english muffins ;-D

45 years of HyperLube
I started using hyperlube in 1980, From V8 engines to small engines. It has doubled the life of every motor I have ever used it in. Works very well in differentials and other gear based applications where Superior protection is necessary. I use it in my callac CTS V and the performance is Phenomenal. I also add Sea Foam to a tank of gas every 3 months and that also improves performance.

Reduced oil consumption. Engine runs smooth and quiet.t
I first started using Hyperlube about 10 years ago when my car started using a little oil, about 1 quart every 5,000 miles. This reduced oil consumption by more than half. I also saw a reduction of oil seeping around the valve gasket. I used to wipe it clean around once a year but now maybe every 3 years. I use synthetic with Hyperlube and my engine has never ran smoother and quieter. Startups are much quicker resulting in less drain on the battery. There may have been a slight 1 mpg increase as well. It's not as thick as STP oil treatment but fairly thick, so people afraid of thickening their oil too much may want to switch to a lighter weight oil if they want to try Hyperlube. I think the majority of people will notice improvements on older engines. My car now has 200,000 miles on it and it still runs like the day i drove it new off the lot.

Rislone makes great products to conduct chemical warfare on old tired engines.
For any older tired engines with failing compression, this stuff makes them run like new. The viscosity is just enough to make a good seal and be able to keep the cylinder walls lubed enough to stop wear. I've seen first hand how this stuff makes an old tractor or 4 cycle boat engine work like new. Not for everyday use in newer engines however; unless they are blowing out blue smoke.

Great stuff
I use Hy-Per Lube in conjunction with Marvel Mystery Oil with every oil change with all my vehicles as a preventative measure. Only 8 to 12oz the MMO in each oil change mixture. The point of the Marvel Mystery Oil is to prevent carbon from building up around the piston rings. I have used heavier amounts of Marvel Mystery Oil to release stuck piston rings on older engines ill maintained and it has revived oil burning engines to engines that no longer used oil. Also lucas oil additive is about equal to Hy-Per Lube but I prefer Hy-Per Lube. Also if you're running a V type High Performance Engine you may want to add 4 oz of General Motors EOS to each oil change as well to protect the heavy friction metal surfaces especially for those with high performance cam shafts. The chemicals in the EOS are what the EPA had the oil companies remove from motor oils some 20+ years ago because those protection additives become poison gas in an oil burning engine. Don't use EOS in an oil burning engine. Like even stupid people would be that stupid๐

Works OK-Up date works better than I origionally thought
It helps a little with cold start tick, but not a magic fix. It is much thicker than I expected, a turbo/ smaller engine might consider a different product. I have not seen fuel economy improvement. My old Ford 4.6 does not use much oil, and still doesn't, so Hyperlube does not hurt an older engine. I have not tested in winter weather to see how it flows in colder weather. Neutral opinion, but will not repeat purchase.UPDATE: I had the oil changed at a shop, as I also wanted the steering components looked at. Even with putting the gas pedal to the floor to delay starting, so the oil can reach the top of the engine. There is a dry knock much longer, and a delay for oil pressure to register. I will have to drain off a quart of oil, and place more hyper lube. Hyper lube is great for my frequent short trips, and works better than originally thought.

these motors are good engines but they tend to be a bit "thrashy" ...
I have been changing oil a LONG TIME and have used many products including LUCAS, STP, etc. and from now on it is this product in the motor. I have two Buicks with the 3.8 V6 Series 2 engines among 4 other vehicles. Now, these motors are good engines but they tend to be a bit "thrashy" for lack of a better word. They sound like sewing machines at start up and quiet down a bit when warmed up. This Hy-Per Lube product seems to dissipate some of the start up and run "sewing machine" noise. The engines are definitely quieter. I only use synthetic oils and Royal Purple filters so the change in engine noise is attributable to this product. I only write reviews that are honest in nature and have no manufacture affiliation with Hy-Per Lube. I believe you will not be disappointed with the product however it is not to be used to refrain from regular oil changes. It is a perfect fantasy believing one can drive with "extended life" motor oils for longer than recommended changes but engine heat and weather conditions dispel that myth.
