Bought these because I needed good hammers, and this set was pricing for the cost of a single hammer in the local big box store.Well balanced, and cleanly made - no burrs or defacement on the striking faces. Will probably have to cord-wrap the handles - my hands are much larger than the average bear's. But each one feels good in my hand, and fit into my tool chest like they were made for it. Haven't done any metalwork yet, so the Sledge and Cross Pein haven't seen action, but I needed to set some Carriage Bolts into the top for a work table I was assembling...the 24 oz. Ball Pein knocked them right into the heavy oak planks easily, and allowed me to quickly "tweak" a couple of parts into place...felt sort of in my element there.In short, good hammers for the home handyman, and a great value for the price.

The hammers are good in appearance, however after light use I can see where some of the embellishments are coming off.

Been needing a BFH, now I have two!!! Bragged about my order to a buddy, now my stupid Samaritan self only has 1 Ball Pein. lol.

I was always looking around for a hammer so when I came across this set of hammers that could handle most jobs I needed to tackle, I was sold. I have learned that having something as basic as a hammer is essential to save a lot of frustration in getting things done.

We own a small tire shop in Nevada. We use these to break beads on tires roadside. We find these to be very useful. The right fit and weight. Highly recommended

I like this set a lot. I’ve been using them for blacksmithing and have held up nice so far. Time will tell.
