The Turkish Tales Of Nasrettin Hoca

I love the fact that the stories are both in Turkish and English... It is perfect for bilingual children... It is also a great book to introduce kids to Turkish folktale, even for adults... My grandkids loved it!I wish the last page of the last story wasn’t missing... Although just a few sentences and easily translated from the complete Turkish version. Nevertheless, we enjoyed reading the stories night after night before bedtime.

My young Turkish friend loved the books I sent her with both English and Turkish text. Great gift for a 5 year old.

How can one not love anything of nasrettin hoca...it contains both Turkish and English versus...great book for children and adults...

I've been searching for Turkish/English books for a long time. I love that this presents them side by side. Some of the humor is lost in translation, but it still is wonderful to have both languages! The illustrations are great, too!LOVE IT!
