best pots in the world!
Oh, my god. I love these pots and pans. I got the main set separately and ordered a second large pot to havd on hand just in case, and have now had the set for 4 months. The outside is a beautiful blue with just enough specks to decorate and the inside is a nice, sleek black. This are the easiest pots to clean, too! If I wash it by hand (which I normally do, with a rag, not a sponge-on-a-stick), everything slides right off. There were even a couple of nights where, due to time constraints, I had to leave dirty pots in the sink overnight. The next day, STILL just as easy to clean with a little hot water and soap! I've never even had to really soak these--they all clean up so well.Lately, I've been slowly trying them out in the dishwasher to try and save time (and prevent 24hour dirty pots) and they've done exceptionally well on the top rack. I have not put them on the bottom, and sometimes they come out with white specks from the dishwasher, but I'm 98% positive it's due to my ancient dishwasher and not these pots (the spots wipe off easily). No damage to them at all from the dishwasher! It should also be noted that I DO NOT use metal on these pots, only wood or plastic, to prevent scratching. My boyfriend once used metal and one of the pots does have scratches on it, but so far it hasn't torn up and the covering hasn't started to come off in our food like I've had some pots do before. All in all, HIGHLY recommend it. All of them.

I ''These and they beautiful as well as being functional
I needed new set of pots and pans and had been looking these for while. I'm glad and excited to have ordered these. They are beautiful. I don't understand the bad reviews. I haven't had them that long. They can do nothing to improve. Amazon is perfect. I'm a prime member and have ordered over 1,000 products. '' my Amazon!!! I cook every day and have had no problems. I hardly have to use any soap and water and by the time I wash out my other dishes my pans are already dry. I had Rachael Ray before but I like these a 100 times more. Nothing sticks to them and I don't even need to use oil if I don't want to . I made scrambled eggs and what was left I just peeled out and used a paper towel to wipe out my pan and it was perfect. The lids fit all the sauce pans. I use one pan to sauté everything. My family love cheese burgers and when the cheese runs off the burger it doesn't stick nor burn. It just peels right out. I've been recommending these to my friends. I'm buying my mother in law a new set for Christmas as hers have seen better days.An added BONUS I got this cute ivory chicken measuring spoons. They are so cute and sturdy. I hung them on a hook by my stove. I've several compliments on my spoons and my Paula Deeen cookware. Anyone looking for cookware you don't have t look any further and they come in lots of beautiful colors. Thank Ms. Paula Deep for my cookware. I love it.'''''''''

Great pans, but SMALL
I picked up a Paula Deen 12 inch frypan in the thrift store and liked it so much I bought the matching set of pans for Christmas. They're nice heavy-weight pans and the finish is wipe-clean, at least for the first few months of use (I'm notoriously hard on my cookwear). I'm happy with my pans BUT they are on the small side. If you are cooking for more than two people you'll need something a lot larger, and their larger pans cost nearly as much individually as this entire set. :( I don't really understand why they even bother to make a one quart saucepan, the set would be a lot more practical if they gave you a 3 quart instead. And the 'rooster' measuring spoons are a complete waste of space and I tossed them straight in the donation box... but for the price, this is really good 'starter' cookware and I'm happy to have it.UPDATE - it's nearly two years after I bought the cookware and it's holding up extremely well. These really are high quality pots. They're only starting to stick a little now and it's not because they're worn, they've got a patina on top of the nonstick coating and I'm sure I could remove it with a bit of elbow grease. They can go through the dishwasher with their finish unharmed, the only thing that suffers is the copper coating on the knobs, which gets tarnished in the dishwasher. Upgrading their rating because of how long they're lasting me.

Great set for a great price.
I absolutely love this set I received as a gift almost a year ago. I cook at least two times a day during the week and three times a day on the weekend. Needless to say I am rough on my cookware. We eat a lot of eggs and I love that I do not have to use butter or oil as these are true non-stick. Even with cheese I have no issues and clean-up is a breeze. I got the set in red and they still look brand new. After reading some of the reviews I wanted to give some suggestions. Do not turn your stove up to full blast. Use the appropriate temperature for what you are cooking. A full flame will burn food no matter what kind of cookware you are using. On the rare occassion you must use a high flame ensure the handle is not over the heat source. Do not run these or any pots and pans through the dishwasher. It adds a lot of wear and tear to them and can damage handles and the nonstick surfaces, regardless of the brand or amount you've paid. These are very easy to clean. It takes only a few minutes. Lastly do not ever use a metal utensil on a non-stick surface. It will scratch it.Hope these suggestions help. I had to learn them the hard way. I have gone through about 5 sets of cookware in the last 20 years. Usually within a few months I see issues, with this set after almost a year I am still as happy as a bug in a rug. And you really can't beat the price as well as these have held up.
