Very effective indeed
Quick release skewers were originally developed so that punctured wheels could be changed very rapidly in professional road races and since then have come into virtually universal use. However, many designs have surfaces which are exposed to the elements and wear over time, the result being that they become increasingly difficult to adjust properly and the wheel may move under stress. This design has no such surfaces and therefore will be unaffected by this issue. If you remove your wheels frequently because, for example, you often put the bicycle in the boot of a car, quick release has its advantages. However, if wheels are only removed to change tyres or cassettes, or to mend punctures, the situation is rather different, and many cyclists will have a 5mm Allen key as part of a multi-tool which they carry with them all the time. The Allen key fitting may also act against casual theft, but this is in my opinion of minor importance compared with the other advantages of this type of fixing.

Just what I needed
Quick release kept shifting ever so slightly on my MTB wheels and causing the brakes to rub. Plus when you put the wheel back on after a puncture the same would happen. Having these prevents that. You can fasten the wheel precisely with no break rub. Just remember to take the correct Allen key with you!

Absolute Rubbish
I put this on my bike wheel but realised I hadn’t put a bolt on. So tried to take it off. The Allen bolt was shredded and the Allen key cannot remove it. So I’m now stuck with a loose wheel that I can’t get off because the head of the Allen bolt is all misshapen after using it once. I now need to take my bike to a repair shop so he can remove it.Very annoying.

Not really anti-theft, cheap plastic heads, will not stand Mountain Bike impact.
It says "Anti-Theft" looking at the product it's easily opened by hand.Plastic head parts to hold the nuts, this will break as soon as you use them.Anti-Theft should require a key to remove the bolts, also stud build quality felt very cheapReturned.

Rubish
I installed it on my bike just to see what it was like and then I tried to remove it but it was impossible. The material is of such poor quality that when I tried to use an Allen wrench it was impossible because the nut was wearing out. Finally I used a drill to remove this part from my wheel. This piece got broken into pieces

Sensibles solution for less expensive bikes
Cheep and cheerful solution that'll hopefully mean i won't come back to missing wheels when the bike's locked up in the town centre.
