Biedermann & Sons Dickens Lantern Pillar Candle Holder, Antique Red

I looked all over the web for a red lantern and finally settled on this one. It is so pretty, not real large but big enough to display wherever you may want to put it. I love the stars in the top that let the light come through. It is sturdy and well made and looks good with all types of candles. I placed mine on the center of my dining table and put in a flameless candle with a timer and the lantern comes to life at dusk and stays on until bedtime. It is really pretty and I am very satisfied with it.

I really didn't expect a lot from these, they look nice and my purpose was to hang a few around my fire pit area to add to the ambiance. Nice design, functional....you get the idea. Well, these arrived with broken glass panes. One of them had 2 broken panes (one busted out completely and one cracked) and the other had one broken pane. Were they worth the price had they not been broken? Maybe. Very thin metal but I definitely was not expecting a tank and the design is redeeming. Are they worth the price now that I have to search for replacement glass? Definitely not.

I like this lantern because it can be used for both Christmas and Fourth of July (the red and the little stars on the top) The color is perfect and not an ugly bright red color. It's a nice deep red. The glass was chipped on one side but I really wanted to use it immediately so I didn't bother to send it back. You can't really tell there was a chip.

I gave this product as a Christmas gift and my friend absolutely loves it, I put a flames candle in it and it looks BEAUTIFUL. GREAT BUY AND QUALITY FOR THE PRICE,

This is a replacement for previous order that glass was broken. This item arrived and glass was broken again. I will replace the glass myself due to trying to get to ups store to mail item back. You need to look at better protection of the glass panels.

We put a 5 inch flameless candle in this. Surroundings it with some gold twig berries. Looks wonderful. The reason for 4 stars is that it isn't very sturdy. I feel it should be.

I bought 2 & they are perfect. The color matches my living room beautifully. I use battery candles & plan to keep them out year round.
