Despite some of the negative reviews, mine is a positive one. I ordered the copper tray, and it is exactly as pictured and described by the seller. I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. The tray has a beautiful, intricate design and the copper color blends well with other decor. The tray is not heavy, but is very sturdy. Also versatile: I can see using it as a serving tray, or placing under a potted plant, or using on a table with a centerpiece.

I felt it a little too glossy for my taste but the patterns and the product in itself look beautiful. It is not a matte finish.

Not bronze or copper metal but bronze colored plastic type material, it’s still pretty and ornate, and affordable if you don’t want to go the extra $$$ for a tray. This doesn’t scratch the table and won’t discolor - we use it for sunglasses and mail on a hall table, but it would be nice as a small piece of wall art.

We lived in the Middle East for years and I wanted a bedside tray that would coordinate with my brass tea table from Iran. This is perfect and such great value for the money!

The description said the tray is copper-colored brass. It is not brass. I'm an old hand at buying brass and copper in the Middle East, Turkey, SW Asia, and always carry a magnet with me to test metal. A magnet will not stick to brass and copper. It stuck to this tray--the tray is made of some kind of metal containing iron. Further--the photo was lovely. The tray itself is not. I'm returning it.
