Awesome
I live in a very rural area in the south and throughout the spring and summer it gets really hot and extremely buggy here. For the last few seasons, we have had a really bad flea issue. I currently have two dogs and 2 cats. My German Shepherd Dog has a serious flea allergy and continues to be fighting with hair loss and extremely itchy skin because of the large flea population we've had the past couple of years tripping his allergies. I tried everything: normal flea killing remedies for inside the home and treating my lawn to help decrease the chance of one of those little buggers hitching a ride on him when he goes outside. I have him on pretty much every flea pill I can think of from my vet. Once the season got into top gear, it didn't seem to create much of a dent into the fleas. Same with Trifexis. Frontline worked about in addition to the others. Between flea and heartworm meds, I had been spending $100 a month of preventative care for my two dogs. Having utilized Advantage about a decade or so back on another dog I had in the time if we had another serious flea I thought I'd give it a try . I had read about the Joeor collar and how it would take care of ticks and fleas for 8 months and since Advantage had worked for me in the past I thought it was definitely something I must really be looking into. I could not get it at my regional vet as they don't take it so I switched to amazon. I read through the reviews and liked what I was visiting. I purchased one of the collars and impatiently awaited its coming. The moment the mail carrier place it at the box I had been on it and put it in my German Shepherd Dog since he's most severely affected by the fleas. One of the reviews mentioned about a 10 day period for your collar to actually start to operate but my experience with it is a little different. I began seeing dead fleas after the same day I put the collar on your dog. The flea problem had gotten so bad at the home I was ready to call an exterminator to try and remove them. Every living thing in the house was scratching thanks to the fleas. Within about a week of putting the collar on just one dog, all that stopped. I see a flea from time to time but that's usually later we come back indoors after a walk or enjoying. There are no fleas in the home. Even areas the cats and dogs don't go, the fleas are gone. I had planned on buying a different collar for my own 160lb dog but with the way this one has workedI do not think that will be necessary. My German Shepherd Dog is getting back his hair slowly and he's not scratching all the time. He's sleeping better--everybody is sleeping better. I understand with the economy being what it is right now, I understand completely that $50 for a flea and tick collar might seem like a lot to spend at the same time (which is among the reasons my regional vet doesn't carry it because lots of their clients can not afford it) but it's very well worth it if you've got a flea and/or tick problem. My $100 a month preventative statements went to $30 after purchasing this collar. This works out to around $6.25 per month for the best flea and tick protection I have ever discovered. There aren't some pills to con the pets into eating (no longer mending peanut butter sandwiches to find the pills consumed!) Or no messy topicals to use. I am absolutely sold on this particular flea collar and will not ever use another brand of flea and tick preventative . This is the only solution for me. Each the favorable reviews on this website with this collar, consider them. The compliments that they are singing are completely spot on. Edit, 4th September, 2014I wanted to come back in and update my review as it's been a couple of months since I bought this collar and put it on my puppy. The collar has worked beautifully! It's still killing ticks and fleas like it claims, my dog has not had any allergic reactions to it (something I worried about as another reviewer commented their dog did respond ) and my home and surrounding region is completely flea-free. I wasn't expecting this 1 collar to kill all the fleas in the house with four critters running around in here, but it has. My GSD has nearly all of his hair back and I could tell a huge difference in his character. He is more lively and joyful all the time like he used to be before he had his awful allergic reaction to a flea bite. The sole chewing or scratching he does today is where his skin itches from the new growth, which scratching/chewing is decreasing steadily. I haven't seen a single flea in well over a month and I don't even worry about picking up any buggy hitchhikers Once We go for walks anymore as I know the collar.

Love this collar!
My dog is a three year old hound Akita mix, his whole life he's had chronic flea bite dermatitis and flea bite hypersensitivity, focused on his back, so bad he yelps and cries like he's being beat to death (yes really that bad) while he chews or only when you pet his rear tail and half, he's been miserable always whining and chewing since the fleas hurt so bad, and I've felt terrible that nothing gets rid of his fleas. I have tried it all shampoos, more affordable flea collars expensive drops to no avail, but this really is somewhat pricey too but well worth it, even after a week of wearing this collar all of his fleas are gone and for the first time in his life I can pet him and grab his tail, so I was so happy I cried, I could finally pet him without him yelping in agony, but now he performs like when he was a pup, and he's happy all smiles today. I read a lot of negative reviews with this and put off purchasing it for a little while, however the more testimonials I see I started to see a pattern, most folks were placing it on elderly puppies 9, 10, 11, 12 year old puppies, and puppies who older tend to come up with liver problems if they come into contact with any pesticides IE: flea drops an collars, and the rest appear to have pre-existing allergies the collar causes. So I purchased the JOEOR collar along with my puppy and I couldn't be happier.

Love JOEOR Collar !
We live in the city where Lyme disease was found and called. The tick difficulty this is profoundly serious and plagues many people who reside here. In case you have animals and do not vaccinate, it is inevitable which Lyme will invade your pet. We simply adopted a hound and was looking for solutions after his topical was ineffective. We'd discover average 12-15 ticks on him after every outside trip. Our vet highly recommended that the collar. We did our research and spoken with our pediatrician to ensure the product was not a risk for our small children. Our vet told us that he was privy to a number of research and video footage of their collars impact upon the ticks. He said the ticks barely can come in contact with the jacket of their dog and they immediately start grabbing and perish. They almost never capture. Again, assessed with the pediatrician and we felt convinced that this was the best choice for us. It was not worth the risk that our children get sick from a tick. So the results are after about two weeks, we're discovering dead ticks and no hosts. We couldn't be happier. We understand it takes a few days for the collar to take full effect which we discovered to be true. I love Joeor collar.

Fleas? What are fleas?
I really like this because of its convenience! Our baby is a 185 lb English mastiff male with a massive neck. He already takes a pill which keeps fleas away but in NE it is tick season and b/c of his size that the vet recommends two tubes of the large Frontline. Lots of you with big dogs understand what a mess even one tube can cause. I was putting them on different days b/c of this oily, stinky, mess. This Joeor collar eliminates all of the that and I don't have to keep my children away from him until it dries and no odor. We have not seen any ticks on him while he's hanging out with us outside and he's had no responses to it either. Only downfall I see is in the way it's secured. How his neck folds it's sometimes popped off b/c we couldn't get it to this very first loop. I would hope that would enhance the latch. Aside from that very thankful for the money its economy me along with the simplicity of not having to remember to employ goop every month. Additionally, purchasing on Amazon was more affordable despite my vet rebate ( I also confirmed with my vet that this was the same collar. They marketed.
