After 4 years my iphone 6S battery was pretty degraded and barely lasting a day even on battery saving mode. iOS had detected an unexpected shutdown so it was throttling the phone as well. Time for a new battery! I ordered the SUNZOS battery replacement kit based on the reviews and when it arrived I found it pretty easy to fit. The tools do the job and the instructions are clear. This being my first battery replacement on an iPhone I was a bit apprehensive so I watched a number of videos on how to complete the task. It's not actually that hard. The hardest part is getting the adhesive off the old battery which I helped along by using a heat pack on the back of the phone. Once the battery was replaced and I had calibrated the battery, I now get 2 days on one charge and the phone is really responsive again, just like new! Thanks SUNZOS!

Changed it yesterday afternoon. Really please how easy reassembly process went. Instructions are clear and to be honest the leaflet is so detailed I watched the recommended video after the battery was already installed. Take note there are calibration instructions in the attached booklet. Reassembly took much less then hour from start to finish plus ca 8hrs to deplete the battery (screen brightness to max plus auto lock disabled) and complete the calibration. Lost 3% overnight and another 15% after light use for 3h following morning. Will try to add battery performance comments after longer observation.

The online video wasn’t working. The instruction manual misses a step: replacing the haptic touch at the bottom of the battery. Add this step to the instruction. Probably just before the reconnecting battery. The step involving removal of the old battery involves a tool not in the pack. It says to use a screwdriver, but I damaged the battery like that.To do it start with:1) dish for the tiny screws2) hard old card you can cut eg. Oyster3) pair of scissorsWhen you get to the battery removal stage cut the card to the appropriate width and remove the sticky strips.Only other thing I’d recommend is looking at the screw lengths as you remove them. Even from the same part they can vary in length.Overall: good and cheap. Instruction need improving a little.

This product is great. Installing it made my ‘phone better than new and gave me a sense of achievement.The process of changing the battery is fiddly and removing the old battery was not easy, but technically it’s not challenging if you follow the instructions carefully. I struggled getting a good enough grip to pull the battery adhesive strips and one of them broke, which made removing the battery difficult. Those strips have amazing sticking power.The battery used to need charging by mid-day and would suddenly collapse. It now lasts all day and once still had 50% left when I plugged it in to recharge. Apple offered 5-days without my ‘phone and an approved Apple technician company said they had no stock but wouldn’t book me in. The option was pretty much go for it with this battery or buy a new ‘phone. I thought it was worth the risk and it came good. As well as being an eco warrior, I saved money.

This is the second of these batteries that I have fitted to iPhone 6S. The tool kit is just enough for the job in hand, the video exploring how to change the battery is clear and tells you all you need to know.My phone is now showing 52% of battery life and that is after coming off charge 15 hours ago; the original battery needed charging half way in the day.When opening the phone I used a bottle of water and an elastic band to fix the screen to the bottle so it stayed upright; this meant not having to undo the display cables and freed my hands to swop the battery.Also on the first phone the Touch ID stopped, the cure I found was to disconnect the battery and then reconnect it.Good choice of kit.

Battery was ok for 3 months. Then after nearly 3 months later phone started to restart while using even checking email or while browsing/reading web pages. After phone restarted the battery charge level indicated red and very low below 5%. But before restarting the phone on its own, the battery level is above 40%. Trued charging fully overnight, updated to latest IOS. Did not help. Phone can't be used more that 5 min, after full charge now.I bought this as Amazon has listed as it's choice. But I am now ended up buying a new battery from different supplier.I will not recommend this battery for anyone.

iPhone now behaves like new. Very easy to install. All the tools you need come with the kit.I recommend watching a YouTube video first although the printed instructions are good.Just clear the table and have a white cloth as those screws are tiny. I'm not experienced and completed job in half an hour.

I dont often take the time to write a review, but this battery replacement kit for my sons iPhone 6s really is excellent. Battery arrived approx 60% charged and is now showing 23% after 2 days! Fitting is fiddly (no way to avoid this) with some screws being literally 1mm. Set your stall out and make sure you organise a way for yourself to ensure the right screws go back in the right holes. There is a high def youtube video that shows the whole process. Trickiest part for me was removal of glue under existing battery. You have to work slowly and patiently to achieve the right result. Once done the replacement battery is truly like a new lease of life for the phone
